We’re Looking for Engineer #4

The Role
We need someone who can own our frontend and help us build exceptional user experiences. You'll be engineer #4, working directly with the founding team to shape both our product and engineering culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead frontend architecture and implementation (TypeScript, Next.js, React)
- Bridge the gap between our Rust backend and user-facing experiences
- Help define how AI-powered interfaces should actually work
- Build features end-to-end when needed (we're a small team)
Ideal Background
- Strong in modern web development (TypeScript/OSS library ecosystem)
- Experience building full-stack SaaS products
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Bonus: Interest in AI/LLM interfaces, information design, or e-commerce
What We Offer
- Pre-seed founding team compensation: meaningful equity and $100-120k salary, to increase after seed funding
- Remote-optional (Based in SF ideally, or willing to come to the city a couple times per year)
- Direct impact on product and company direction
- Work on genuinely new problems in AI and UX
